Preparation of the wig
In order to accomplish a beautiful hairstyle, the wig should be in good condition. If your wig is accumulated with styling products, oil and dirt, you should wash it before you start to curl it. These residues will affect the holding of curls and the ultimate effect of the hairstyle you desire. When the wig is totally dry, use a comb to detangle the wig until there are no tangles.
You’d better get a wig stand and secure the wig on it. It’s easier to curl a wig on a wig stand than on your head. In this way, you can better access all areas of the wig, especially the back of the wig. If you don’t have a wig stand, you can wear the wig on the head to curl it just like curl your natural hair.
